English: The souls of Pe and Nekhen towing the royal bargue on a relief of Ramesses II's temple in Abydos. In the upper register the jackal-headed (heads missing) souls of Nekhen, in the lower register the falcon-headed souls of Pe (Buto), as the souls of royal precedessors of the pharaoh, helpers in the afterlife. The hieroglyph text between them is: "The words of the souls of Pe and Nehen are said: O, come to the protection of the god, king of Lower- and Upper Egypt, User-Maat-Ra Setep-en-Ra!"
Magyar: Nehen és Pe lelkei a királyi bárkát vontatják II. Ramszesz abüdoszi templomának domborművén. A felső regiszterben a (hiányzó fejű) sakálfejű alakok Nehen, az alsó regiszterben a sólyomfejű alakok Pe (Butó) lelkei. Közöttük a felirat: "Így szólnak Pe és Nehen lelkei: jöjj az isten oltalmába, Alsó- és Felső-Egyiptom királya, Uszermaatré-Szetepenré, akinek [örök] élet adatott!". Pe és Nehen lelkei a királyi ősök lelkei, akik a fáraót segítik a túlvilágon.
